This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Well, I can say that I am loved. In my first years as a mother, Mother's Day always came and went with a carnation from church but that was really all there was. We may have done a Mother/Daughter get-together with my Mom but that was it. The last few years, the kids have decided to do things on their own. This year, I came home on Friday to an immaculate house. My husband had spent the day cleaning. Saturday my two teen boys were away at district Track meet and my youngest got up before 6:00am to go to a fishing derby. So, my husband and I went to the town south of us and enjoyed garage sales and looking at the calm ocean. I came up with ideas for a sketch/drawing series--Port Life. I'll see if it ever gets started. When I came home, we had a bit of time before a Mother/daughter tea at church with my mom and my daughter. We had fun and enjoyed finding out what five items from the local market could be purchased for $10 without going over and what all we had in our purses. Then it was off to my work where my daughter played the piano for a Mother's Day tea. We got to take the Miata and it was warm enough that on the way home, we put the top down! Then it was out to the ocean again for the evening with the youngest, and finish off the evening with a movie with my husband. Today, we went to church and my second son brought me my carnation first thing when we arrived. Then my daughter and I sang special music: Laura Story Blessing. My kids gave me handmade art projects, a walnut knick-knack shelf, an acrylic bluebells picture, and a pillow. After church, my husband suggested doing something unwise financially, but fun for the family. We went and saw Avengers 3-D. It was fun! The kids loved it and so did we. Now to head back to the real world of teaching tomorrow. Although it should be fun, because the one class has written and is performing their version of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in Spanish. So, they're working hard on that this week. Hope you all gave your own Mom's a hug or something special.
I have not had any formal art training. My sister took art in high school and shared with me. I picked up charcoal and paper work. That then sat dormant for twenty some years. This last year, I started to write a story. With the story came the desire to illustrate. From some simple how to draw on-line tutorials to a deviant art tutorial and from lots of erasing and trying again have come my dragons and their riders.
